Millennium Holsteins

In 2016 we built this 28,000 square foot dairy barn for Millennium Holsteins located in La Broquerie Manitoba. The Barn not only houses 120 milking cows, but it is designed to accommodate future expansion. As it stands today, two Lely Astronaut A4 robots manage the herd. The robotic milking system tracks milk quality and through this system analyzes the cow's general health. When the cows are not milking they enjoy a free stall system. This system allows the cows to move freely about the space, this creates a peaceful and healthy environment. An automated alley scraper manages the manure, ensuring the alley is always clean. And, thanks to the Lely Juno all feed is kept neat and as a result, the cow's food is where it should be.
