Renovations always come with surprises, but they also create opportunities.
This office transformation made the most of what was already there. Existing openings in the CMU walls allowed us to introduce additional windows without new penetrations, bringing natural light into the main office and training room through the feature window. The double-height office space adds openness, while acoustic panels, lighting, carpet, and fabric desk partitions work together to keep the space comfortable and quiet.
Designed for real office life, the kitchen includes a grab-and-go coffee station, a dedicated cleaning area with a larger sink and dishwasher, and a cooking zone with microwaves, a toaster oven, and plenty of counter space. With generous seating and cozy booths, it becomes a true break space for the team.
Because this was a renovation, the design had to embrace the existing structure, including columns that couldn’t move. By working with those constraints rather than against them, the result is a thoughtful workspace where every material, desk, and finish was selected and tested with comfort and adjustability in mind.
